i am not a great fan of rajinikanth and yet when i was i chennai recently, i picked the book from a leading book store more for time pass than any thing. i started reading the book with zero expectations. what hooked me was the narrative. i have read many biographies, memoirs, auto biographies. but this book was "different". for one, it was a very light read and did not trouble the reader with facts, statistics, film release and all the hash that goes with the biography. i enjoyed the past and the present pendulous swing. it was like swinging to the past and jumping to the present. 
what bugged me was obvious mistakes like sat chit ananda instead of satchitananda, apoorva Rajmangal instead of ragangal . why should the proof reader sleep, when a book of this stature is handed over to him. the author should also have been more careful in selecting her type setter. 

barring a few ( unpardonable),glaring errors and considering it is her first book, i hand it over to her for giving a glimpse of rajnikanth. i have even decided to watch his first day first show the next time, his movie is released, just to see if the author is correct. i have a few suggestions to the author, i dont know if she blogs but if she does, here is what it is : make sure you personally check for spelling / name errors. it is not worth to blindly trust your printer/publisher. you have made a very good book, i see a great potential in you, polish up a little more and you can go places. negative reviews and criticisms will always be there, ( justified - with avoidable mistakes ) , dont be disheartened , do your work.

you have added one more to the millions of rajni fans,i dont know if he is really all that simple but f he is , hats off to him and to you.
