Samit Basu's The Simoqin Prophecies  comes across as a normal fiction at the first glance.
But as you dive deeper into the world of demons, Gods and superheroes; You are just filled with awe and just cant stop yourself from reading ahead and exploring the world through the author's eyes.
This book is the first part of the Gameworld Trilogy and grips the reader to the maximum.
More than the compelling story line and some well garnished humour, what holds your attention is the supposed spoof on the conditions that all of us are so comfortable in.
In this first part you meet Kirin, The main protagonist who learns more and more as he discovers his magical prowess. Supporting him is Maya, Best freind and little more, The best magician in the city of kol.
Asyou go through the book, it just engulfs you and as soon as you finished you would just go and grab the second part. A must read for any person who never read a fiction story.
