Posted by Lilyrose on 29 May 2008 Suze Simons is a 'mediator' who tackles ghosts. But, moving in to California to her step-dad's place offers her weirder experiences , with a hot n handsome ghost Jesse 'sharing' her bedroom, becoming the most popular girl in her new school and also saving the hottest boy at School,Bryce.Well,Suze's life's not that simple and happy, especially when there's Heather, the ghost who would stop at nothing to kill Bryce, her ex-boyfriend.What does Suze do to save Bryce and the school, where she's had quite a good and spirited(pun not intended)beginning?...is the story.
Meg Cabot is at ease writing about Suze-witticism,cynicism,sarcasm-all intact.I personally am not much into novels regarding the supernatural. But I picked this one for Meg Cabot. And I wasnt disappointed. It's a pretty good, fun read you can relax with.Trust me, I know, I had to read this one to steady myself and cheer up, after reading Ian McEwan's'Atonement'-which is quite a tedious read!
So, to sum it up:This book is typical teen fiction, with a sprinkling of angry ghosts, hot ghosts, and humour!Have fun
