Most awaited Harry Potter book?Yes.Most pre-booked HP Book?Yes .Best written HP Book....to me,NO.I love J.K.Rowling and her Harry Potter Series...but I admit that this was not her best book....atleast that's what I feel.Hype surrounded the release of the book...and after reading the book....I felt that J.K.R had played it safe...she was , to use a cliche 'playing to the gallery'...the Book ending was structured so as to not hurt any of her die-hard fans...and the result?Rowling's originality was lost....The book does have it moments in the middle...but I did feel that the book wasn't as clever as Prisoner of Azkaban,as dramatic as Goblet of Fire or as intriguing as Order of the Pheonix.
The epilogue is like reading the script of a tv soap...I felt she could have definitely done much better in the end.But having said that...the Harry Potter saga is in itself an amazing contribution to the world of Modern Reading and Books...it brought about a revolution of sorts. And for that alone Jo,thanks a lot!!!:)
