Happy For No Reason - is a reason to be happy

Attitude is really everything - I had thought when I borrowed this book that I would be unhappy I had done.
After all why does a dedicated Christian believer like me need a book about how to be happy.-
BUT I WAS WRONG.
This book is a well researched book.
The main points it makes are :
1. FOLLOW THE GUIDING THREE

     Firstly follow your internal GPS- that whatever decision expands you and makes you happier is the one you should make (Law of Expansion)

     Secondly - The universe is out to support you and you need to believe that (Law of Universal Support)

     Thirdly Whatever you appreciate - appreciates (NAMELY ATTITUDE UP) (Law of Attraction)


2. Take small baby steps (honestly I dont know any other)


3. Set up a support system


Some parts of the book annoyed me- 

Like the part where all the happiest westerners are the same rich white believers who travel on rattling buses to third world countries where people are born to die and are dying all around them yet people are singing and happy and carrying heavy loads. The singing Bangladeshi story literally scared me.

That part I have to admit I did not like.
I have lived in remote villages and seen life as it lived  hundred miles from the nearest septic system and I can tell you it is not happy.

There is rather in many cases, a desperation, a despair that is not evident to westerners who see smiles (maybe those are smiles of lack of comprehension of the language  ) etc etc

anyway - apart from that this is what I liked


HERE ARE SOME POINTS I LIKED:

1. Intention, Attention, no tension= want to have flowers- plant seed, water it, wait with no tension for it to grow

2. Most of the shadows of this life are caused by standing in ones own sunshine.
so change you response to things- you cant change an event so change the outcome by changing your response.
3. Frankl- ultimate freedon is in ones response and that is a freedom that cant be taken away

4.endorphins are always good- do some stretching
5.Beware of ANT's in the brain, ANT's are automatic negative thoughts - 
The mind is filled with automatuc negative thoughts about oneself that we hear and feel about ourselves.

6. In a day 60,000 thought and 95% are the same ones we have always thought.
7.80% of our thoughts are ANT's
