   I love to read children storybooks and novels. During Summer holidays when days are long and not much work to do, sitting with a simple novel is quite relaxing. When I started reading the novel which is meant for children 8yrs and above, it took me into my own childhood. In this novel 13 year old Zinnia Taylor struggles with the questions that keep popping from her mind. She discovers a trail and starts clearing it inspite of her brothers and sisters making fun of her and parents not understanding her. Somehow she feels that reaching the end of the trail will help her unravel the mystery of the redbird and her own ghosts that haunt her. Is she successful? Read on...Language is simple and connects to the kids, their trials and tribulations.
